Chalet Le Minouchet
From the Hughes party, 2017-03-05 - 2017-03-12
Minouchet was spot on. Just a few mins walk from both the Pleney and Super Morzine lifts, the chalet was in an ideal spot - we even skied to back the door on a couple of occasions.
9 of us stayed for the week and there was plenty of space for everyone and their kit - the garage/bootroom was particularly handy.
Would definitely recommend using the Alptitude service for transfers and ski pass....and the ski hire company they work with (All Mountain Rental) were great, delivering and collecting skis, boots etc.
All in all, a great week in Morzine - good comms before, during and after from Alptitude...a good chalet, great location and top notch resort...I suspect we'll be back!
From the O`Loughlin party, 2017-02-19 - 2017-02-26
Chalet Minouchet was great for our two families of four. It would still have been a good size with two more guests. It was a 10 minute walk to ESF at the Pleney lift with children. We left the children's skis etc at ESF overnight to save a carry. You can book ski lockers large enough to take 5 adult sets of skis at the Pleney station but these need to booked before arrival if coming during half term week.
From the Harrison party, 2017-02-05 - 2017-02-12
We loved the chalet and the transfers (Sam) was brilliant (my wife has been travel sick with other drivers, but Sam was brilliant and she was relieved when we had him on the way back)
We will definitely book with you again.

Dear Ben & Beth
Just wanted to say a big thank you for our fantastic stay in Chalet Le Minouchet.
Could not rate this Chalet enough, Plenty of room and just a short walk to the lifts and town centre.
Thanks for organizing the transfers and the ski passes, all could not have run more smoothly.
Looking forward to booking with you again.

Once again, a great trip had by all and this was made possible by Steve and Lynn.
Chalet Le Minouchet was in a superb location, just a few minutes walk to the bars and restaurants, but far enough away to have peace and quiet at night. The chalet was well cared for and very homely and I wouldn't hesitate in staying here again or in one of the many other chalets Steve and Lynn look after.

From the Yates party, 2009-03-01 - 2009-03-08
Dear Steve, we had a fantastic 4 days skiing holiday, Chalet Le Minouchet was perfect for us - spacious, well equiped, very comfortable and well located with good access to the town, supermarket and Pleney lift system. With the excellent snow conditions we had it was just ideal at the end of the day to go back on piste B and ski directly to the chalet......the whole experience was simply perfect. Thanks again SteveFrom the Jesney party, 2009-02-22 - 2009-03-01
This was our 2nd time at Chalet Minouchet, we had a brilliant weeks skiing and the chalet was again great. Well equipped and well located. Lots of space too for the non-skiiers in our party to hang out. I'm sure we will back again for a third time!
Oh - and a very small thing it would have been great if there had been some piste maps at the chalet!
Thanks again Lynn & Steve.

Dear Steve and Lynn, We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Chalet minouchet beg of Feb....There was 9 of us and we could have easily had another...plenty of space, and very cosy...Morzine was fantastic, plenty of runs and the bars/restaurants/apres ski was very lively, and being able to walk to all of them was a real blessing...thanks again for all your help through our rather complex booking too! See you next time! Iain and the gangFrom the Preece party, 2009-01-25 - 2009-02-01
Enjoyed a week of great snow staying in Le Minouchet. The "ski in" is perfect and the "ski out" only a very short hike up behind the chalet to the piste. The chalet was very comfortable and had all we needed for cooking 3 course meals. The children particularly enjoyed their bunk room!
From the Lambert party, 2009-01-18 - 2009-01-25
This was our second year using Alptitude, last year we stopped in Telemark 2 and thought it was great. This year we stayed in Chalet Le Minouchet which was even better.
The chalet was an ideal size for our party of eight adults, 4 large bedrooms, 3 bathrooms and 3 toilets meant there was no overcrowding or queueing. The living area and kitchen were very comfortable with lots of comfy seating. An added bonus was english TV and radio as well as a wifi internet connection so you can keep in touch with home.
Loads of hot water, enough crokery and cutlery for a three course meal for 10 and even a dish washer, this chalet has the lot.
The chalet is about 5 mins walk from the town centre bars and the cheap supermarket. The Pleny lift is skiable if you're feeling fit and walk up to the piste otherwise its a 5 min walk down the road, Super Morzine is also a five min walk accross town
We took the whole package from Alptitude, The transfer man was waiting at Geneva for us and whisked us to Morzine in about an hour. Steve was waiting to show us round the apartment and left our pre paid lift pass. The ski hire from Felix ski was easy, everything prebooked was waiting for us. the return to Geneva was in good time for our flight.
We had a fantastic week and will definatley be back next yearFrom the Goddard party, 2008-08-16 - 2008-08-23
Hi Steve & Lynn,
We enjoyed our stay at Le Minouchet last week. There are many aspects of the chalet that we liked including its convenient location and cosy lounge with UK Sat TV. We also found it to be well equipped and well furnished. One thing we would mention is that the double bed on the top floor would benefit from a better quality and more comfortable mattress. There was much to do in Morzine and we will no doubt return. Thank you for the help and advice that you gave us during our stay.

While a return visit to Alptitude, the first time at the Le Minochet.
A very comfortable and well equipped Chalet, well positioned with a just a short walk to centre of town/lifts.
We enjoyed our stay in a very unseasonal April From the Plant party, 2008-02-03 - 2008-02-10
A lovely, practical house which is like a home from home. Close to the ski lifts and you are able to ski home, which our 7 year olds thought was fantastic.
The drying room is an added bonus with wet clothing and washing dry by the morning. A very enjoyable stay, looking forward to coming back next year! From the Cook party, 2008-01-20 - 2008-01-27
We stayed at chalet minouchet for a week in January and it was fantastic. We were a party of 7 adults and the chalet had ample space for us all, was close to the town and the lifts and was ski-in - ski-outable. Alptitude looked after us well and was nice to get the welcome hamper again.
I would recommend this chalet to anyone and would happily return again myself.

We had an excellent week in Chalet Le Minouchet. It was very well-positioned and very well equipped. We were particularly grateful for the hose and washing machine after some very muddy biking! Would definitely recommend it.

We were really pleased with the chalet, it was very well equipped, close to town and our children loved the garden. We also appreciated the welcome basket of goodies, a nice touch. From the Wells party, 2007-02-11 - 2007-02-18
Le Minouchet is a lovely chalet in a very good position. If there???s any snow at the back it???s worth the few minutes??? steep walk up the hill from where you can ski to the bottom of the lift. On the way back down you can almost ski back to the door. It???s also close to the town so everybody can get around independently, which is especially useful if your party includes teenagers. The chalet is really well equipped with plenty of room for 2 families. A really good feature is the downstairs boiler room which becomes an excellent drying room capable of drying 9 sets of wet ski gear overnight.

Thanks again for a fantastic week in Morzine - Chalet Le Minouchet was really perfect for us. We especially loved the ???little touches??? like our welcome pack of goodies, the wifi and the plasma tv and sky - it was great to be able to watch England rugby match on Saturday afternoon (boring game though!).
We all really enjoyed our stay - and I hope we???ll be back. I will definitely be recommending it to my friends.

Excellent location. Clean and well equipt. Couldn???t fault the chalet but could have done with an extra sofa.
Would return again.From the Barnell party, 2006-02-12 - 2006-02-19
A lovely holiday in a lovely chalet. It was clean and welcoming and very well equipped.
My only criticism - and this is not of Alptitude - is that although we have been away for half term for the last 5 years - we found Morzine absolutely heaving and queues for the Telecabine and some lifts were, at times, intolerable.
However, a beautiful resort to ski in for all standards - just wish we could have had a bit more snow !
JulieFrom the Kiss party, 2006-01-08 - 2006-01-15
Alptitude were thoroughly helpful with every stage of the holiday booking process, and the holiday itself was fantastic.
Le Minochet is a superb chalet, close to the shops, the piste and it has all the facilities you???d expect.
The only problem with Le Minochet is that no one in our group wanted to leave at the end of the week! From the Booth party, 2006-01-01 - 2006-01-08
We had a wonderful holiday, thank you very much. Of course, we were blessed with good weather and good snow, and no accidents. But we were also very satisfied with the chalet and the arrangements you made for us generally, including rescuing us at the airport by finding us a vehicle to bring us to Morzine when we had not completed the ordering process properly. Thank you, Steve.
The only complaint throughout the week was expressed by our Rachel who was sleeping on the ground floor: she said the noise of the heating equipment had disturbed her a little at night. i doubt that there`s much you can do about that.
regards, Rosemary and John BoothFrom the Chick party, 2005-12-25 - 2006-01-01
We all had a fantastic time in Morzine and Chalet Minochet over the New Year???s week! The chalet was welcoming, warm, well equipped and roomy enough for 10. Added touchs such as the 10% discount at Felixski - who were also very friendly - were great! The chalet is in a great location for ski lifts and the local nightlife. The customer service from the Norris family was very good and all members of the party would recommend Alptitude to anyone thinking of visiting Morzine. Thank you!!

Alptitude provide a high quality service with good attention to detail.
They organised the transport to and from the airport, the lift passes and ski equipment for those that needed it.
We were met on arrival by Steve who showed us around the chalet, explained how things worked and bundled everyone who need skis into his car and whizzed them down to Felix ski to sort them out.
He expained he was there if we needed anything during our stay, but we didn???t and consequently he left us to go our own way, which is how we like it.
The chalet itself is spacious, well presented with everything you could want as noted in the other visitors comments.
The property is within easy walking distance of the town centre and the pleney lift station. One of the pistes runs about 150 metres to the rear of the property which means that those with a reasonable standard of skiing can come off the piste and ski back to the chalet. My son did it, but I chickened out every day, returned to the bottom of the piste and walked back to the chalet. It is not far (about 400 metres) but at the end of a days skiing it does feel longer!
Overall I would give this a rating of 9/10...but I don???t give anything 10!! We will be back.From the Murrells party, 2005-08-06 - 2005-08-20
Morzine has so much to do you could spend a week here without needing any transport. Ideal for children as the road outside Minouchet is safe for playing. And being within walking distance of shops, the luge and the swimming pool was ideal. From the Edes party, 2005-03-27 - 2005-04-03
We have stayed at Chalet Minouchet for the past two ski seasons and prior to that at Chalet Jordan, another of the Alptitude properties, three or four times.
We changed to Minouchet due to the increasing ages of our children. They like and need the proximity to Morzine itself. It is very close to all the town???s amenities including access to the slopes !! When the snow is good you can easily ski directly back to the Chalet
Minouchet itself is delightful, well appointed and comfortable for large groups. There is plenty of room and it is well furnished.
Steve and Lynn Norris who run Alptitude are great hosts. There when you need them and extemely helpful. Their approach to managing their Chalets is straightforward. If something is not there all you have to do is ask, likewise if something needs mending... it simply gets done.
We have been back to Morzine regularly over the past few years. We recommend the place, the Chalets and Steve and Lynn at Alptitude to you. From the Wales party, 2005-03-06 - 2005-03-13

We spent a fantastic week in the Chalet Minouchet last March with perfect weather and excellent accomodation and service from Steve and Lynn, thanks very much to you both. We enjoyed it so much we are booking again next March. Highly reccomended for accomodation quality and location, just about perfect.
Thanks againFrom the Freeman party, 2005-02-06 - 2005-02-13
We stayed in Le Minouchet. The location was great and Steve was very accommodating and made us feel at home. A great holiday....
Thanks Steve!From the Rogers party, 2005-01-30 - 2005-02-06
We stayed in Chalet Minouchet for a week last Janary and were mored than pleased with the accommodation and service provided by Steve Norris.
The Chalet is a short walk from the centre of the village and the ski-lifts. Very convenient. Everything was clean and working when we arrived (some foodstuff and fruit provided and a bottle of wine!)and a couple of light bulbs that needed changing were dealt with instantly. The ground floor has a twin bedroom with bathroom en suite, the boiler room that doubles as a good drying room, heated garage and laundry.
The first floor has two double bedrooms bathroom and a very spacious dining room / well equipped kitchen. There is a stereo. A balcony runs around this floor with wonderful views of the village and mountains.
The top floor is a comfortable sitting room and a further double bedroom and bathroom. A nice touch, both video and DVD are hooked up to the TV and people have left a rare(!) mixture of DVD???s and videos + books.
The chalet is really spacious and can sleep 8-10 people comfortably. It???s not one of those places where you are told ???sleeps 8??? and you find yourself packed in like sardines.
We would definitely recommend it to others, plus the care and attention we got from Alptitude. Everything was on time, properly organized, and inquiries handled personnally. Steve Norris drove us around himself, sorted out airport transfers, skis etc. and provided lots of useful information.
We are going back next year.

Le Minouchet is a very comfortable and convenient chalet. The accommodation easily copes with 8 /10 people. The dinning room lends itself to convivial evenings. The top floor lounge provides a seclude place to relax.
It is close to the main Pleney ski lift (which in the Summer also provides a start to some good walking in the mountains).
And Le Minouchet is handy for Morzine itself - the stroll to a bar/restaurant or the shops an easy step.
This was our third stay in a highly recommended chalet. From the Pedley party, 2005-01-09 - 2005-01-23
Chalet Le Minouchet was lovely, very spacious and in a great location. we were picked up from the airport and droped off on the doorstep and greeted with our ski passes and a very well recieved basket of groceries and bottle of wine. We really enjoyed our time in morzine, thankyou for a wonderful holiday.
